i just got a new rig, abit be7, 1.8a, and 512megs of corsair 3500
when i try to boot with nothing but the vid card, mem, cpu in i just get never ending long bios beeps and i have a phoenix bios and i cannot figure out what it means. i am on my second mobo (returned first just in case) and i am having no luck. Does anyone know if it is my memory, i have found some old usegroup posts that say it is memory but they are at least 8 yrs old. Any help would be appreciated.

I've heard some boards have this problem with 3500. Put in some slower RAM, get into the BIOS, and manually set CAS 2.0. Then put your 3500 back in. See if that works.
