ati 9500 pro mem faster than sapphire mem?

the ati radeon 9500 pro has 275 gpu and 540 mem according to newegg. on sapphires web site, their atlantis 9500 pros memory is only listed as 270. is this true or is newegg a typo or what? cause the ati brand is only like $20 more than the sapphire with that kind of increase i think it would be worth it?

270=540 (DDR)

I just ordered that card from newegg, and it's got 3.3ns ram on it. That's above spec (3.6ns is spec) and faster than the spec mem on a 9500 pro.

270Mhz is the REAL speed of the ram...since its DDR (DOUBLE Data Rate), its EFFECTIVE speed is 540MHz
