I had to downgrade my system to a GeForce256, 32MB SDR card. I am interested in overclocking the hell out of it, core and ram.
I had a look at the card to see what was on it, 5ns ram...it's a start, and there are two voltage regulators. One is by the core and I suspect it of being the voltage regulator for the core. There is one in the top right corner of the board, I suspect this of being a voltage regulator for the ram (is mentions 3.3V in its' markings).

I will be watercooling the RAM and Core so I intend to use high voltages (as killing the card is not a problem as it will cost only a little to get a new one) and I want to know if anyone has done this before and if they could point out any problems I should be wary of.

I have good experience in soldering and electics/electronics so I should be able to understand any formulas that you give me relating to resistances.

I am doing this to see how much I can push they system so that I can have my own folk-tale of how "Four score and many months ago I once increased the performance of a Dell machine by 100%....".

Let me know if you can help, post some links if you have got them.
thanks, s.

I was wondering if there are any minor tweaks that don't involve water coolers, soldering, etc?

THanks
