I am thinking of mounting my GenX Mk 4 pump to the bottom of my Chieftec Matrix case, but I'm not sure what the most secure yet removable method would be.

I've heard some of you mount the pump using two-sided tape but I would like to take my pump to LAN parties and it really needs to be secure.

How are you all mounting your water pumps to your case?

Thanks in advance,

Wangster

Hmm....I'm not sure if the tape will hold a pump that weighs ~10.8 lbs.

The mounting plate has relatively small surface area for the adhesive to stick to.

Any other suggestions?

drill little holes and put mounting hardware. but inside instead of having a nut put a butterfly nut so if u want u can just spin it off. or u could cut slits in ur case and use those velcro cable ties, just position them correctly..

I'm liking the velcro ties idea, seems like there would be less fitting issues than creating perfect pilot holes for screws and such to fit into.

I'll look into that.

Thanks,

Wangster
