ok if you've got a piv 3.06ghz on some 2100 is that slowing it down ? whats the highest i'd be able to go with my memory with have to oc, like i want to fully use the ram some 3000 ?

Well it depends of the memory how far can it goes.You can even reach the speed of a 2700 memory but no more than that.

yeah, youll definitely hit a limit with that pc2100. and it probably wont be far from its initial speed unless its high quality OC'ing ram like from Corsair/ XtremeDDR/Geil...
