Crazy idea - nozzles and vortex

Any one give a thought the the brass spray nozzles you can find at mcmasters? Some spray in a round pattern others are flat.

Also would air vortex work the same in water?

Air vortex, yes. Spray nozzles: bad (they're not meant for submerged spray)
