Is there an easy way to adapt a standard chipset waterblock for a board with spring clip? I would like to have it as secure as if it was bolted. I know there is special epoxy for this case but my fear of missing the operation is just too great; i'm not that extreme in gambles... And if i want to upgrade, i will lose the waterblock...

make a little bar of plastic or aluminum or somethign and just span it across the block in whatever fation you need, with the holes in it 2.3125inches apart from center to center

btw.. you won't lose the waterblock if you upgrade your motherboard.. just take the block off.. :D

and......... wut kind of waterblock are you talking about?
cause i dont know wut a "standard chipset waterblock" is...

and JFettig;s method is pretty easy and secure..
