Newegg and GA-8PE667 Ultra

Hello I got the refurbished motherboard from newegg and I did not realize that this board had an IO shield different from everyone else.
I have called my local store cpusolutions.com and they do not have this one of a kind IO shield.

I called gigabyte and they told me it would be 12 bucks for this item!!!! its a little piece of metal.........

anyone know of a beter source for an IO shield that fits this motherboard?

newegg.com will not sell me one. I realized that it did not come with the cables and extra usb headers but, this is the first motherboard I have ever had that needed a special IO shield.

No, your best bet is going to be Gigabyte. I'm honestly surprised they only want $12. That's actually reasonable for a replacement part.

I doubt if any stores will stock this shield because it wouldn't be worth the hassle to keep around a shield that only fits one motherboard.

I hope you got the board for more than $12 below the list price.
