Yeah yeah, GF256...old news :p
Anyways, I have a duron system that has a GFDDR in it and I was wondering how well the TV out is on that card? I would like to set it up as a media server in the living room if the TV out quality is decent.

It has a funny plug though (different than GF3/4 s-vid plugs). I'm going to have to find a compatible cable....

Anyways, anybody ever used a GF256 for tv out?

I use a tnt1 for TV-out (svideo), it can do 800x600 with 16 bits, which is fine IMHO even with a 32" TV

I cannot see the difference between the tv-out of the tnt1 and the geforce3, maybe all geforce's used the same tv-out chip
