The small fan on the core died, I still run the card with the memory overclocked (not the core anymore) I have some killer airflow in the case so temps are still ok, I applied some new thermal paste on the core, and I've put some on the ram while I was there. I think it helped a bit, but my question is how could I fit a fan on this without ditching the current heatsinks ?

you might be able to squeeze a G4 by thermaltake but it will look weird. i personaly would ditch those sinks.

dude, go to radioshack and take the old fan with you... they've got a medium selection of small fans and sinks that you could choose from and probably adapt for your card...

You could call up Asus and get them to send you one, offer to pay for it and they would probably send it free anyway. I got one for a Asus GF2 GTS but it took 6 months of trying, however I'm in the UK and Asus have no native support here.
This is the old topic about it.

If you find you are really really stuck I think I have a working one here somewhere from when I water-cooled my Asus GF3 deluxe.
Wow, looks like I'm not alone. :)
