Has anyone tried the GEIL PC3700 or the Sammy PC3700

Personally, I would stay away from Geil. I just had a horrible time with my stick of PC2700 Ultra. Basically, it was a stick of samsung with copper heatsinks on it and it would only do PC2700 on the lowest timmings on 2.9 volts :(

Nevertheless, I love my Corsair!

I have seen various retailers with the memory for sale:)

And I have seen those retailer's ratings at
www.resellerratings.com

USE THAT SITE BEFORE YOU BUY FROM ANYONE!!!!!

Samsung does not make pc3700....
How much do you trust a company that is selling you a nonexistent product?

The fact that they use samsung chips is no reason to turn them down. Corsair doesn't produce their own chips either. What it all comes down to is how picky they(geil/corsair) are in terms of selecting chips for their memory.
