Is 2.9Voltage to high on p4s533-e?

Hey everybody. I have cheap kingston 266 Mhz 256 MB DDR CL2.5 running at 400 Mhz with 2.9V voltage so it would be stable.
Isn't this voltage to high? I've read some pesimistic (for me) articles...

i ran my ddr at 3.2 for a long time, didnt have any probs. you shuld still try to keep it at or under 2.8 though...
