Could anyone tell me the maximum amount of watts the fan headers on an Abit KT7A can take.
Thanks.

It can't take a 60mm Delta black label fan, that's for sure. That would fry the header atleast, possibly the mobo.

I was wondering if the fan on the Vantec FCE-62540D would blow out a fan header on the Abit KT7A.
Thanks.

ok so if thats the case and then fan you got is too strong how or where do you wire it up to? the PEP66 has 2 versions of fans that i know of[atleast here in australia] that come with it,1st is 4800 rpm,2nd with 6800 rpm..are these safe to connect to mobo?[im new man!]

Would I run any chance of blowing a fan header when using a Delta 30cfm fan?
Thanks.

Well, I suppose you have to look at the fan and see what it's ratted wattage is (6W max) or what it's rated current is (.5A max). BTW wattage = voltage times current IE 12 * .5=6
