hi, i have a 512 stick of ddr2700 from samsung, i recently updated my bios from the 1005 to 1015 (asus a7v333-r) and i have a new option in my processor speed settings that reads 2167 (166/33) i'm thinking KEWL! BUT my computer will not post at this speed. i'm not really upset about that, but my bios says that to use this feature i need 333MHz ram which i have, does my processor have to officially support this too? or is my ram not up to par?

Your computer doesn't post at that speed because your cpu can't handle this fsb.So it's not your memory responsible for this.

whew, i thought that maybe my memory was bad or sumpin'. well i guess i need to look into unlocking my processor then....
