Ok first question, can an ERDA use DCDDR? (dual channel ddr) I dont see the option to run it at that in bios.

Second. Would DCDDR actually be useful maybe, running the FSB at say 200 and the ram at 50% of that in DCDDR. Im just curious if the supposedly double DCDDR bandwidth would make up for the lower clock speed and thereby give equal or close to equal performance at 100mhz as running 1 stick at 200mhz.
 
Dual channel ddr It's what Nforce2's do with 2 sticks of ram.
 
Yes, the 8RDA can use DCDDR (Dual Channel DDR). It automatically kicks in when you install a second stick. Currently, the DCDDR implementation is too immature and inefficient for your proposed approach to work well.

Oh well. Thanks for letting me know. Guess I gotta dump 200$ on some 3500 cas 2 after all. :(
