Self-explanatory guys. This is for a friend who wants to build a decent P4 system. Since I barely have an idea of P4 chipsets you guys might be of better help.

What do I choose? (Asus P4S533-E or Epox-4PEAE i845PE)

Do I have better options? (other boards/chipsets)

Your inputs will be very much apperciated :) Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend the P4S under any circumstances. The 845PE boards (like the Epox) have much better performance at a competitive price.

I would pick something besides the Epox, however, because I see that name attached to the abbreviation "RMA" too much for my tastes. If your friend has a tight budget I'd recommend one of the basic model boards from Albatron. If he can go $130-150, I'd either take the Abit BE-7 RAID or Gigabyte GA-8PE667.
