hey all, I was told by a fellow co-worker that after clearing the cmos i would have to reset my memory...
IS THIS TRUE?????

I have 128mb sdram @pc133

If this is fact, then how would i go about it ?

Also, is there anything else that i would have to reset or adjust after clearing the cmos ?
tks in advance for the input...

Go through your BIOS and write down the settings you have now. You'll probably have to reset your drive settings so they are all recognized, the time and date, etc. Your fellow worker was referring, I think, to your RAM timing settings. Just go section by section, aand you should end up with your settings back to where they are now.

Yeah, like Stool said, you'll need to re-set all the options in your BIOS.... your actual memory stick will not need to come out or anything.
