max fsb on IT7 with corsair 3200?

I may have a 2.4b coming my way that can do 3.2ghz on air. I'm worried that I won't be able to get that cpu up to that speed because of the 3:4 ratio on my IT7.

I don't want to run 1:1 so that is out of the question.


Has anyone run close to the 177fsb (18x177=3.2ghz) on an IT7 with Corsair pc3200?

THis may be a stupid question, but is there anyway to test my ram to see what it will max out at?

i have the same set up. the fastest ive gotten is 172 fsb with the 3:4 thats 3.1 ghz. this is memory limited as i can do 3.4 on the 1:1 ratio. the good news? im begining to feel that at these speeds, not much proformance increase is noticable from a few 100 mhz here or there

Why dont you use the 4:5 ratings in Bios ? or did the IT7 doesnt support it?

i would but i dont have it. 4:5 showed up in the 845pe chipset

So you have the "older" IT7 ? I don't know, it hasn't...sorry
