Any hints from you with what bios version or how to set the bios parameters
correctly to let a P4 2.66 work correctly with the BD 7 Board? When using in
the bios softmenu:

user defined CPU
133/66/33 as the speed ratios
20x
33 as fixed pci speed
1:1 as cpu/memory ration

and save this i always got a

BIOS Cheksum error

after rebooting and my system wants to start from the floppy a:

Any help from you. Now the system works at a 2.00 cpu with 100/133
cpu/memory speed.

Thanks

Norbert

well one thing you did not metion was what bios you are using. It is always recommended to go download the lastest one and update the bios.

i just find the bd7 cr Bios. where to find the bd 7 bu bios

thanx for answering

hmmm. the bd 7bu bios is for the bd7 II and not for the bd 7 board.
But i can say i made it. The point was NOT setting the PCI speed to 33 but seeting it to 133/4!!!! That make a difference and the system now works at 133/133 host/dram at 2.66 mhz.
