i just kinda stumbled upon this. at accubyte.com if you buy five or more 3000+ Cpus you can get them for $349 each. buy four and they are $645 each. i dont know if this is a typo or not, but i put 5 of them in my cart and the total added up to about 1800 (like $40 shipping, but it is half price). it is kinda too bad that the forums dont allow group buys, because this is one many people would want in on.

I used to buy from accubyte years ago. They were good back then. I think they changed out their management or something because they gone to the cra pper in the last few years for some reason.

Wow. I unwittingly ordered a 1600+ from them a month ago. Everything went smoothly, and I got a great little OC'ing processor.

Yeah accubyte is decent.. i got an xp1800 from them about a yr ago and it went smooth.. they are local for me so i called them up and they were going to charge me like $30 to pick something up locally so I was like fk it ill just pay the damned $7 shipping. They do some freaky stuff but I also saw a deal one time and it was a typo on their part for a processor/mobo combo for like $20 and I was like gimme 5 please and they emailed me back saying it was a typo and they wouldnt accept it, it was written in their policy.. bs if you ask me but the BBB shall straighten them out.. :D :D

That was smooth? They wanted to charge you $30 for picking something up at a local retailer and you say their decent?

You must have very bad experiences with retailers if you're happy with that kind of service.

Anyway, most places with bad reseller ratings will get the right thing shipped to you 90% of the time, its when an order gets screwed up or there is an RMA or anything dealing with the service department, that these stores stink like a turd.
