I recently upgraded to the newest bios and my temps are consistantly 3-4degrees higher, and the computer runs unstable at high overclocks. Has anyone had the same problem? Is there a particular bios that runs cooler than most others?

what bios you update
and what system you have and how much you overclock

thanks

I had upgraded to the CQ bios and temps were higher and I had frequent lockups/slowdowns when in windows. I had upgraded from an old 9x bios, but now installed the AW bios since I read a couple others here had good o/c with it which means good for being stable.

Is there any advantage of a CQ bios over the AW?

The same case - after upgrading bios from AW to CQ temps are higher (CPU 44idle/60load, system 37idle/58load), but no any other problems. I dont solve it and hope next bios version will correct it. :)
