Just wondering,
What are the requirements for a home stereo system to be hooked up to my sound card on my comp?
Is it a converter of some sort?
THX for all replies.

It is usually very simple. You need an adapter to go from your souncards output to RCA jacks, cables long enough to reach your stereo, and an open input on your stereo. I hooked my aunt's computer up to her stereo instead of having her buy computer speakers, the adapter cost about $5.00.

yeah its even easier if your soundcard has rca out. if not you will need a mini to rca cord. and half way good store should have them

Can we get a mod to sticky this thread or another similar one that might be more detailed? This question seems to come up quite a bit.
