cool looking HL mod (think tabletop wargaming)

somebody's working on a Warhammer 40k style mod for HL...this looks pretty cool. there's even dreadnaughts as vehicles.

I can't wait for this one, NS was a cool mod, even though HL is aging the mod content is so good it keeps it fresh.

I used to be into all that Warhammer stuff when I was a kid - should bring back good memories :)

although I remember a mod for this a while ago getting told to stop by a games company who was officialy working on a game for warhammer - think it was EA, not sure...so lets hope they dont get wind of this :)

actually, i did some reading on the site, it seems that they've already received email from GW...they had to place some disclaimers about intellectual property, but they weren't shut down or anything. there's actually another wh40k HL mod in production besides this one.

i did 40k for a long time, but once i got married, i couldn't justify the expense any more. seems like the ratio of time & money spent Vs. how many games you actually play is pretty lopsided...

but what power do GW really have - all they would have to do is change the names of all the stuff slightly...be the same thing - I have tonnes of racing games do the same thing where they obviously havent got rights to the cars, yet the models look identical they are just called something stupid
