ok im about to make a pretty big upgrade... getting the asus a7n8x deluxe with a 2100+ tbred and now ive come to the ram. ive decided that corsair xms is prolly the best and need some advice on which speed, amount to get. i don't have enough for 512mb pc3500 and only have about $100 to spend on ram. should i go for the lowest speed of 512 or the fastest speed of 256? i heard there was somewhat of an advantage to having 2 sticks of ram in the nforce2 boards so i figure i could get a stick of 256 and another one later when i get the money. what should i do? any additional input is appreciated as well.
