ok, so for those who hasn't follow the thread it's here

Now for the dumb down version that I got it to work,

1/ dowload the file with the previous link.
2/ unzip the map file into your map folder of unreal2
3/ create a notepad file, in it paste this line

"D:\Unreal2\system\Unreal2.exe DM-Obolus.un2?game=u2.u2deathmatch"

without the quotes of course, remember to replace the appropriate drive letter. Because I had my game installed in the D drive that's why it's from D, and the DM-Obolus.un2 is the map which you just put in the map folder.

4/ You have to save it as a .bat file. For instance, when I was done withh mine, I saved it as "bot.bat", WITH QUOTES to preserve it's as a bat file. I saved it on my desktop for esier access, I suggest you do the same.

5/ Now that file should appear as executable, double click on it, and play :D

and this little excerpt is from the readme:

"Once in the game, hit your fire button (e.g. left mouse button) to start the game. Bring the console down (~ or Tab key) then type

bemymonkey

to enable cheats. Then type

addbots 3

to add 3 bots. All the other commands that I mentioned are also typed in the console (or bind them to a key, e.g. I use

set input scrolllock togglescoreboard

so I can turn the scoreboard on/off by hitting the ScrollLock key).
