vid card for UT2003

Currently I run Gf4 mx440 for the game and it "ok" at 800 x 600 w/ 16 bits but terrible at 1028 x 768
would the ati-8500LE 64mb better ??

btw this a 1700+ w/ 256mb of pc2100

yous should try ocing your video card i ran a gainward gf4mx440 golden sample oced to 310/480 and cpu oced to 1900+ and ut2k3 ran fine for me at 1024x768. is ur gpu ddr? btw i upgraded to a 8500 and i really can't tell the difference b/w the two.

does it DDR ? I have no idea. All I know it is AOPEN I'm sure of
i have another one g4 mx440 chaintech ..does this chaintech better than the AOPEN ?? or the same .. so the 8500LE better than the g4 mx440 w/o OC

You should research, read up on, and try to overclock your videocard before you go looking for a new one. Yes the chaintech card will be just about the same thing. A radeon 8500LE is a faster card than a 440, plus it can do directx 8 effects, but it isn't a very good upgrade. Meaning, its not really worth the hastle to upgrade it.
