Help Up the Creek here!

K im up the creek now...I installed Splinter cell and after a while the game will completely blitz out and make me shut down my computer. I have tried everything from completely obliterating drivers and reinstalling them to not overclocking any part of my system and playing. i Have a feeling it has something to do with Direct x 9 because i only have this "blitz out" problem with 3dMark 2003 and Splinter Cell.

When the Blitz out happens my whole screen goes to a wierd color and gets worse until the computer reboots. I have 42.09 Detonators loaded. Im thinking i might have to reinstall windows, but that is my LAST resort:( ANy Advice/troubleshooting would be highly appreciated.

did you try a different driver instead of reinstalling the same driver???

yeah i went from the 30.81s to the 41.09s..... I THINK i might have fixed it by reinstalling Direct x 9....not sure though because its not crashing in the same place, it will crash at random times just when i start thinking its stable lol.
