Are the springs on the NB on epox 8rda+ supposed to be fully compressed?

i took mine off to check the stepping and to put some asIII on today. i cliped the clips back on but i can still move the northbridge up and down just a little bit when i move it with my finger. Are the springs supposed to be fully compressed ?

No there should be some give there so you can get the heatsink off. If the springs were fully compressed it would be a royal pain to take off the heatsink.

thanks slater. i still cant hit 200fsb. even though i have a A3 stepping. o well i guess the vdd mod will have to be performed once i get a job
