OC'ers of the NF7-S HELPS!

I have a Rev. 1.1 with the bios NF715 and I am not able to pass of 200 FSb in a stable way (that is to say that the Prime95 works: )

I put my configuration:

2600+ AIUGB
NF7-S rev 1.1 Bios 15
2x256 OCZ 3500 THE (banks 3-2)
9700 PRO
WD Caviar YOU 80GB in way SATA
3Com LAN….

APIC Enabled


I would like that you gave me DETAILED information on if you have modified the refrigeration of the Nordbridge and your overalls COMPLETE configuration of the bios.

is the 2600 you are running a 333mhz? if yes, you need to cut a bridge phsically on the chip to get a high fsb. check this thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6934

I could not get over 166mhz until i disabled APIC now i can do 220mhz....

also OCZ has a horrible rep maybe your ram sucks?

my 2600+ is 133 FSB nor 166

yeah in de next format i try disable the apic , but is only the apic the problem?

in the future is convenient dissable always the apic?

OCZ now has some of the best RAM out there. The crap ctuff you're talking about is < rev 3.2. That stuff is old news.
