does this motherboard have the function that to change multiplier without bridging the gaps on the tbred b chips.

i have a 2400xp and at the moment a very disapointing epox 8rda+ nf2 board.

thinking of getting at7 max 2 board as proved itself time and time again as being highly overclockable and stable to go with it.

hope you guys can help and im sure you can.

thanks inadvance

AMD CPUs like the ThunderBird, Palomino, ThoroughBred A & ThoroughBred B are unlocked as long as the L1 bridges are connected. The issue in this thread is if the AT7 MAX2 is capable of reading the upper & lower multiplier sets which is the reason why a lot of people with older boards that did not readilly recognize the 13X - 22X that lead them to believe that they had to "unlock" via the 5th L3 but were confused when only the lower set, 5X - 12.5X, was available.
