need help with compaq presario 5220

It's F10 to get into the BIOS.

If the diagnostic partition has been deleted you will need to download the softpaq for your machine from their website.

Most OEM computers have custom BIOS that will not allow any changes. If the motherboard is also available as retail, you could try flashing the manufacturer BIOS over the OEM BIOS, although with it being a Compaq it's probably a Compaq-specific board as well.
 
It looks like you can overclock it, but it is too old to do it through the BIOS.

Looks like it can go to 550.
And according to this website, it looks like it can support a K6-2+ and K6-3+ CPU.

Now, I would only consider a CPU upgrade if you got a screaming deal on one. Otherwise, I'd save for a socket A motherboard and CPU.
But you can get the occasional deal on ebay on K6-2+ 450 CPU's.
And a K6-2+ 450 is better than a standard K6-2 550.
