1700+ and 8K3a

From my understanding it is impossible for me to get multipliers 13 and above on my 8k3a+ with a 1700+ TredB. Is this correct? Do I just have to get a new motherboard? I don't want to run much above 166 and would like the 13.5+ multipliers.
