Finally The Voices Have Stopped!!

Yes!!

I have finally got a rpely from ASUS regarding the stupid voice that kept telling me "NO CPU INSTALLED!!"

They told me to remove the power plug from the Mobo and take out the vid card, which I did. But I deleted the voice file from the BIOS anyway. So it has finally shut up. I have bench marked and got no performance loss, so I reckon that it's all cured now.

They didn't, they just said to unplug the power and the AGP card.

The voice tells me from time to time that I don't pass CPU test...
*System failed CPU test*

The voice thing acts weird from time to time. Once, I lowered my FSB to 110 and when I booted I heard:
"System failure due to overclocking"

I hear, "Cpu fan failed"... I'm water cooled.
I hear ,"System failed memory test"...every once inawhile

Dont know why i hear the memory one though, all tests i've done say the mem is good.

it's prolly safe to take the pencil out of your ear now, though you might want to consult an E-N-T specialist.

Mine tends to do all of the above but at least it stopped with the constant "No CPU installed!" but then there is no voice to say this!! Ahhahahaha (manic laugh)
