a7n8xDX- fsb- only 100/133/166??

Memory test failed- after changing fsb

change fsb to 150 and got a vocel error msg- Momory test faild.
what setting need to be done in the bios for memory ?

asus a7n8x
tbred 1700
corsair 2700LL 256 X2

Leave the fsb at 150 and default multi. Up the voltage to the ram to 2.8, up the voltage to the chip a few clicks and see if it will post. If it wont post, lower the multi by .5 and try again. Let us know...

i get the same error message on my a7n8x dl. but at much higher FSB ie. 175&up. you should be getting much higher fsb with this board. try 13x166@ 1.8v

fsb 150 . multi -default- 11.- Vcore-1.5V (default)
memory voltage- default-
no problems.

same setting- with multi of 11.5- no post..

what setting need to be done for the memory - 100%? AT SPD ?

update-
160*11 Vcore 1.55V Vram 2.8 - failed
160*11 Vcore 1.625V Vram 2.8- OK
