Nevermind, I had to ground it to a fan header, no room for the ground on the chip because my v.card was in the way..
 
No, it was easy..The only soldering I did was attaching the wires to the resistor ends.. On the grabber end, you thread the wire through the top then in the hole, then push the top back on..
For the fan header I used a old fan header end, twisted the wires together , then used a rubber shrink wrap.
BTW, I used the rubber shrinks on the resistor/wire connection for insulation..
 
I didn't solder on the board, wasn't going to chance it, I'm not very good at soldering it tight spots.. I used a smd grabber.. I did solder the resistor to the extension wire..
 
that just like me... solder the wire onto the POTS.. then use smd grabber to clip onto the mobo :D :D
