Needing help on a new system

How can you tell if your mobo is dead

Im putting a new system toggetter I have got

Gigabyte GA-7VTXE+
One stick of 128 ddr ram
N force 2 64mb apg card
1700 amd cp with a aeroflow HS
400 watt psu

I got all of these new but the mobo. SO here the thing I turn it on an nothing happens the fans start but I dont get any thing on the screen like it in stand by mod. I have try to rest the coms an I tryed a difrent psu. I even tryed a older duron cpu. Is there any thang else I can do to get this to work.

Oh yea I dont hear any beeps or an thing when I turn it on it just runs an this is my first time trying to build one.

Check to make sure the board isn't grounded to the case anywhere. Reseat your memory and video card. If that doesn't work, take everything out and turn on the power. If you still get no beeps, it's the board for sure.

Its the mobo then Ijust tryed it by placing it on the table.
