I had a friend give me a PromiseFastrack100 tx2 raid card wich runs on a PCIx 66mhz slot.

I really am interested in the nforce2 platform, but I would like to utilize this card.

Any mfg'er making a nForce2 mobo with PCIx?

Thanks for any input.

Not that I know of and you're going to be hard pressed to get enough throuput from that card to even need that kind of bandwidth.

I had one in an MPX board using the 64/66 slots with 4 drives and still didn't get enough throughput to hit 133MBps, which is of standard PCI specifications (33/32).

same question 8 months later except I've got an Apaptec 29320LP-R PCI-X controller and a couple of Seagate 15K Cheetah's :D

Does anyone know of an overclocker friendly motherboard with PCI-X?

Cheers
