Do all agp 8x boars have 3.0agp?

I was wondering this because on msi's site it says the k72n-L has 4x/8x while under the k7n2G-iLsr it says it has 8x agp3.0
is there a dif or is this a way msi is tryen to coax people into spending mroe $

agp1=2x agp2=4x agp3=8x
