Bios resets after shutdown

Ok everyone...lemm start off with my specs

A&N8X Deuxe 1002Abios
2100+tbred auihb
2x256 corsair pc3200
nvidia ti4200 128 meg vid 8x agp wfast
slk800 with 80 mm fan w/43cfm

ok..i've been able to get 200fsb x11 just fine with an average temp of 39degc
Some games lock uo after five minutes or so
My biggest concern is whenever i shutdown and powerdown the psu from the back and then restart, it won't post,so i power down and power back up.
Then it starts but the processor reads as a 1500+...so i go into bios and all the sttings are the same.
I restat and all is well again.
does this sound like a bttery issue.

Also with the games.....any ideas would be helpful

Also tried a different battery

The bios may be detecting an improper shut down. Try backing off your overclock to defaults and see if the same thing happens. You may be just too far overclocked.

This was my first thought........but it does it even at 100 mhz
