will raising the voltage on memory allow me to overclock the FSB with 2-2-2-5 timings

I have one 512 stick of XMS corsair cas2 memory and I have the new K7N2 mobo made by MSI... When I overclock the FSB over 168 with these 'tight' timings my computer wont boot... Does raising the voltage allow fo this to happen... Right now its on 2.6 defaults.......

i believe it does (not sure), but be careful not to fry your ram! :D

WELL I KNOW MY RAM CAME WITH A HEAT SPREADER..... IM WONDERING IF RAISING THE VOLTAGE TO 2.7 WILL HURT IT.......

alright, alright...no need to flame me with caps. :D
I don't think it'll hurt, considering you're using corsair memory.

It's under warranty to 2.8v though honestly you shouldn't need it at that fsb. It will be fine at 2.7v. You would have a bogus stick of corsair if it "fried" at 2.7.
