I have Kingston HyperX PC3500, rated at 7-3-3-Cas 2.0. My ststem specs are in sig.

I was running the DDR at spec in my OCed system at a vdimm of 2.77. I can run it at 3-3-2-Cas 2.0 if I up the vdimm to 2.90. At 2.77, wont pass Prime 95, but at 2.90, it eats Prime 95 all day long.

Question is, most DDR is warranteed up to 2.8, is 2.9 excessive, or will the HyperX handle 2.9 without a problem?

Also, who else runs their ddr at Vdimm higher than 2.8?

Bah, stick it at 2.9. Hell, I've watched some of the better O/C'ers in our hobby run at 3.1 and 3.2vmem consistently. I run my Twinmos at 2.9 all the time...and probably will be doing a vdimm mod in the immediate future.

Tonight i am trying for 2-2-5-2. This is with one stick of crucial pc2100 (128mb) and one generic 512 pc2100 stick. not bad!
