There have been a lot of problem identifying the stepping of your 8SQ800 board (includes 8SQ800, 8SQ800 Ultra and 8SQ800 Ultra 2 AKA SINXP) the board comes in a0 and b0 steppings, well i got this off from asusboard forums,

A way to identify it is to check the Lot Number.
If the last two letters in the Lot Number are "BB," then the chip is B0 stepping.

the boards with a0 stepping are said to have DA at the end

Hehe...that's my SINXP board there...:D .

A fellow with an SINXP got one that ended in 4B, he checked under the NB fan and found he got an a0 stepping. It also came with a leaflet in the manual explaining the whole HT situation.

So far so good...BB is the desired marking.

lol well like i mentioned i just saw the information there and thought about sharing it with users here, people with SINXP and other SIS655 based gigabyte boards please do post the lot number so we can make an authentic judgement
