uh oh is right..Forum rules man...forum rules.
Probably through your college or school or even write to MS asking them ;)
Go to your campus computer store. It depends on what kind of deal your school has with MS.

Go to your school and just ask. I'm pretty sure all of your questions will get answered there.
yup :) .. I just got windows XP pro from Ohio State Univ. for $20 ... BUCKEYES ROCKS!! :D ..
if you happen to be in the OSU, just goto OIT/any campus bookstore for information about getting this license ..

Well since you have a liscense, can't you just borrow someones disk. It would be perfectly legal since you have a totally separate certificate/liscense/cd key. Is this ok to do/post. If not SSS will soon let me know ;).

Each campus has different deals. @ oregon state we can get xp pro for around $100, but that's it :(

It should be no problem using another persons disk as long as you have your own license and CD key.

yes. go to the UC berkeley bookstore site which links to educational licence software and you can get the same deals that we do (as berkeley students) provided you can prove that you are a high school senior bound for college.
Just a note, the price savings are not that great, no way near some of the discounts mentioned above. I'd say the best deal for the average consumer is to get an OEM from retailers like Fry's... about $140 for xp pro (regular end user licence) but must be purchased with hardware.
