how do you convince yourself to actually build the watercooling system?

I run a 1.8 at 2.4, and as it gets hotter here in texas, the cpu temp keeps going up...I do have ac though(hehe).

I'm going to build a system and all, but really don't want to mess with yanking out all the parts, since my system is the most stable windows based system on the planet. :cool:

Where do you start? I was planning on building a case for the water system (16"x16"x36" high) first; some fiberglass molding for ducts, and a translucent clear 3.5" tube with 180* connectors for a "W" shape, a window in the case with uv lighting.

I really want to do something dramatic for air flow over the two radiators, propably heater cores from Dad's auto salvage yards.


Someone help me make the jump.

There's nothing we can do - the conviction to do it will come from within. Surf the forums enough, and you'll eventually want to do it. Worked for me ;)

36" tall? and 16" wide!!!!! that will be VERy dramatic!!

but if you make somthing like that it will be very impressive. do you have any design thoughts yet? somthing that big you should go all acrylic.

Keep an eye out for a good deal on a nice pump, block, or radiator. When you see a chance on a really good deal, jump on it. If you have any one of those three pieces sitting around your computer for a while, it will find its way inside your box sooner or later. It will be calling out to you. "Complete meeeeee........I'm thirsty..........neeeed waterrrrrr........."
