How do I go about putting a copper heat spreader on a 512 wibond ram chip? Do I use some sort of thermal epoxy? where would I go about getting a copper heat spreader?

Either thermal epoxy, or thermal tape or just the supplied clips (depends on model) and arctic alumina. Personally I always try the clips and arctic alumina (not silver) first

http://www.newegg.com/app/manufactory.asp?catalog=129&DEPA=0 Check the thermaltake, vantec or pctoys ones. Not the only place, but one of the most reliable ones

I have the Vantec Coppers and they go one pretty easy. Not sure how much they are helping in the heat reducing, but it looks nice and it has to help some.

Unless you have an internal case temperature of 45 degrees celsius or plan on running your memory at 5v, don't obtain heatspreaders.

hmmm ok I won't get them until I get into some extreme overclocking. I am stull really new to this hobby and I haven't put my gear together yet.
