Okay, and since I'm using a 3 to 4 pin adapter, would I still do it the "normal" way as done on this site; http://www.overclockershideout.com/7voltmod.shtml?

I think, but all you would need to do is move where the wires are going INTO the 4 pin connector to the proper terminals..should be all you gotta do.
