umm.. did my monitor just die?

my dell's 19 inch crt last night when i was shutting down just went poof as it shut down :|
so basically it is blinking yellow now,i turned it off and on it goes green and does the crt sound as it turns on but then goes back to blinking yellow, i tried plugging it into a different outlet and still no go, i put my comp in place of my brothers and it worked fine, i tried my brothers in place of my comp and it dint work. everything except the monitor works.. so uh.. dell warranty is 3 years right?

Dead monitor. yes I believe dells warranty is three years. but you better have bought it from them otherwise your basically s.o.l.

yea i bought it from them refurb in september 2000

yeah , it sure is i think. i checked online and 200 days left, also i just spent 2 hrs on the phone and they sending me a new one.
so all is good . wohoo
