I have a GF2 Ti 64MB with TV-out from Elsa. I have a Sony Trinitron 22" TV made in UK. I am using the 41.09 Dets,
Wink2K with SP3, DX9.0.
I am using an s-video to SCART cable. The scart connector has an IN/OUT switch, I have it set to IN. It also has two leads coming out of it, L and R audio.
When I turn on my system, I get the bios info and then the windows loading pages and their status bars (win2K) in black and white on my TV, and it stays black and white while I watch DVD's.
I am using the PAL format, I have also tried the NTSC format, but both are black and white.
Do I need a better/different cable?
I have seen the same type of cable from THOR, an S-video to SCART+2 phono calbe, would this give me color?
My card orignally came with a 4" long adapter, which connected into the S-video in my card and turned it into a composite connector.
Do I need to use this and a composite extension cable to connect it to my TV to get color? (my TV does have a composite cable connector)

I am very lost with all this. Any info is a great help.

If you are using a Svid to scart then the signal transferred maybe a S-Vid signal and not Composite. Try setting your TV to Svid input. (This has separate brightness and colour signals to give better quality) If you put an Svideo signal into a composite socket you will get just a grainy black and white picture.
