P4PE and the AGP/ I just don't know!

Asus says it has 1 x AGP 4X (1.5V only) . Does this limit me to graphic cards that are only 4x or will the Radeon 9700 Pro that is 8x work?

Its only 4x. You'll have to get a different board to acheive 8x AGP.

The 9700 pro will work, it will just run at 4x. I have a 9500 Pro with my P4PE and it works great.

Only if that would be true all of us would save some money. If you can get it working at that..i think everyone would give you a pat on back (respect) and their money...though 4x is fine for normal pc use. Take Care.. you knew the answer, its alright to be as curious as the next.
