Anyone know what memory bandwidth cores they're getting in Sandra ?

Mine seem a bit low despite v. aggressive timings (1.5,5,2,2). I think they're around 3800 mb/sec but on teh sandra compare charts that aint that much bigger than standard SINXP benchmarks and bear in mind that my FSB is 152 ???

regards

best i've been able to is around 4300MB/s @175MHz Buffered and 2300MB/s unbuffered. It is generally considered that the unbuffered scores are a more accurate representation of real-world performance.

Jackel,

Are there any differences between your Sandra scores at cas 1.5 vs. 2 vs. 2.5 etc? I have read that 1.5 is not much faster and you get more errors. Just wondering about your experiences.

i get cold boot problems if i use cas1.5

Most people cannot run 1.5 because it is way to fast.

I dont even know what type of memory runs at cas1.5

1.5 seems fine to me .. no probs yet (inclucding Prime95)

2 yields slightly worse Sandra Bandwidth scores.

I have also upped the second parameter to 6 instead of 5 which worked better.

so optimum combination seems to be 1.5, 6, 2, 2,

but if it makes it unstable then ill gladly change it back to 2.. theres hardly any difference, only about 30Mb/s in Sandra
